Community Roots School

Community Roots School, a public charter Montessori school, retained BCC for two years to support teacher and Board member equity education. Outcomes included infusing the strategic planning process with an equity focus, the creation of an equity lens for Board and staff to use when making daily and strategic decisions, trust building amongst the teaching staff, and personal journaling to facilitate individual growth and learning.
