EMO hired BCC to engage 30 of the organization’s leaders in a year-long training in order to build a foundation upon which an equity lens can be developed. The work began with level setting the participants, building relationships, and engaging in a self-reflective process using the Racial Healing Handbook. Future modules will include examining the current readiness of the organization to undertake an analysis of their policies, procedures, and programs in order to identify barriers to equitable outcomes.
