SlideUX, a boutique user experience company, asked BCC to provide a primer on implicit bias for a lunch and learn. The content was tailored specifically to engage participants in their assumptions when imagining and creating user experiences. Who is the user and what barriers do they face? What assumptions are designers using when creating experiences? Are ethnographic and design thinking strategies used to deeply understand how differing populations use, consume, and manage information? A great deal of ground was covered in the one hour discussion.
