BCC was hired as a facilitator and consultant by Mission Capital's Social Venture Accelerator program to mentor nonprofit organizations. The 6-month program supported the development of business model canvasses, lean start-up strategies, and the identification of growth/funding alternatives. BCC facilitated seminars for the participants on capital formation and investor recruiting. Market positioning, market research, and marketing communications were critical components in the learning process. The program successfully facilitated venture capital investment in high-impact nonprofits.
